Greenwich Club - 88 Greenwich Street
This regal, 37-story condominium building was converted in 2007. The building was orginaly built in 1930 as office space and designed by Lafayette A. Goldstone. In 2000 the building was converted into a rental apartment building by Worldwide Holdings Corporation. In 2005 the property was purchased by a partnership between Joseph Sitt and Andrew Heilberger, the founder of Citi-Habitats. It was then converted into condominiums in 2007. The developers for the project were Buttonwood Real Estate, of which Mr. Heilberger is President and Thor Equities.
