The Sugar Warehouse was built in 1853 and started out as the Grocers Steam Sugar Refining Company. It was later sold to the United States Sugar Refining Company. At the time, this 10 story building was was of the largest of its time. The building was aquired in 2000 by Alex Forkosh for conversion to condominiums. The Architect was Joseph Pell Lombardi.
