The Jumeirah Essex House at 160 Central Park South
The 1930 building has 200 condominium apartments and and 43 floors. It has a 24 hour doorman, concierge, and plenty of amenities. There is central air-conditioning, elevators, health club and washers and dryers. The building itself has an art deco style reflecting the timeframe in which it was built, but unfortunately has a huge sign on it calling it the Essex House that is rather unattractive. Many of the apartments have spectacular views of Central Park and the location is absolutely spectacular. There is easy access to public transportation and the Time Warner Building is right down the Street with numerous shops and great restaurants and jazz.
The location is as good as it gets on the Upper West Side
Across from the world famous Central Park, this building offers you direct acces to many of the finer things the Park and New York City has to offer. You can go ice skating, ride a bike, eat in a fine restaurant, have a picnic, listen to a free concert in the park, or go for a ride in a boat in the famous boat pond.
