Century 21 finally opens its doors on the UWS!

Just as we were all going into fashion withdrawal at the close of Fashion Week at Lincoln Center; we've been saved! Century 21 had its soft opening today at the corner of Broadway and 66th Street. A soft opening is for their loyalty card holders only but don't fret; you can still get one right now and shop with all the other smart shoppers.  The crowds are large but the bargains they are famous for are great. So all you fashionistas who are tired of watching fashion can simply cross the street and start shopping. Doors open to the general public next week.

Restaurants Offer Model-Thin Prices for Fashion Week

In an effort to entice fashionistas to eat a little for a change, many Lincoln Center area restaurants are offering prix fixe specials at both lunch and dinner through September 15th. However, the general public is welcome to take advantage of these great deals as well. Picholine, Telepan, Boulud Sud, A Voce and Rosa Mexicana are just a few of the participating restaurants. Sapphire Indian Cuisine on Broadway between 60th & 61st offer the cheapest deal with a lunch buffet for $15.95.  Picholine is the priciest option with a dinner four-course tasting menu for $92.

 New York Fashion Weeks Starts Today Sept 7th! The Tents are up...ready, set, go!

Starting today and running through Sept. 15th New York Fashion Week has set up shop right here at Lincoln Center.  There wil be 400+ shows and 3000+ Fashion Night Out Events.  Being on the cusp of fall and winter right on its heels, it' hard to believe the designers are showcasing their spring collections.
